Woorayl Lodge Inc is seeking an experienced and values-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead our community-owned, not-for-profit aged care organisation through an exciting period of change and future growth.

Located in Leongatha in the heart of South Gippsland, Woorayl Lodge has been part of the local community for more than 65 years. We currently provide residential aged care through 41 private rooms, together with 29 independent living units, and are exploring future expansion through a staged development on a greenfield site.

About the role
Reporting directly to the Board of Management, the CEO will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and performance of Woorayl Lodge.

As a growing organisation, this is a hands-on CEO role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working closely with the Board, senior managers, staff, residents and families, while maintaining oversight of governance, quality and compliance, finance, workforce, risk and organisational performance.

The incoming CEO will join Woorayl Lodge at an important time. The organisation is currently undergoing aged care accreditation and is also considering significant future growth and staged development.

Key priorities will include leading and supporting the senior management team; maintaining strong governance, quality, compliance and risk management systems; overseeing organisational and financial performance; ensuring preparedness for accreditation and regulatory requirements; building positive relationships with residents, families, staff, regulators and the broader community; identifying and pursuing relevant grant and funding opportunities; and working with the Board to progress strategic priorities,



including potential future expansion.

About you
We are seeking an experienced senior leader who can combine strong governance and strategic capability with a practical, approachable and hands-on leadership style.

Ideally, you will bring aged care experience, including a sound understanding of the regulatory setting and experience with aged care accreditation. Experience in grant writing and funding applications, organisational growth, redevelopment, capital projects or staged development will also be highly regarded.

You will have demonstrated experience working with and reporting to a Board, leading senior managers, managing organisational risk and compliance, and providing clear and informed advice on complex operational and strategic matters.

Importantly, you will be a visible and collaborative leader who can build strong relationships across the organisation while maintaining the accountability and professionalism expected of a CEO.
