About the role:

- Lead a caseload of complex, high value family law matters, including parenting, property and financial disputes.
- Manage matters with full autonomy from initial advice through to resolution, backed by the firm’s specialist accredited real estate team on all property-related aspects.
- Appear and advocate in mediations and court, and oversee the drafting of court documents, correspondence, affidavits and settlement agreements.
- Advise high net worth and complex clients on sensitive family issues, delivering practical, commercially minded outcomes.
- Play a genuine leadership role – mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to business development and helping shape the continued growth of the practice, with a clear path to partnership.

The ideal candidate:

- Senior family lawyer at Special Counsel or Partner level, with a strong track record leading complex, high value matters.




- Deep experience across parenting, property and financial matters, including high net worth and complex property pools.
- A proven ability to run a caseload with complete autonomy, and ideally, an existing referral network or client following.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and client management skills, with genuine gravitas in front of clients and the court.
- Empathetic, commercially minded and able to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
- A natural leader and mentor, genuinely interested in helping build and grow the practice, with ambitions towards equity partnership.
