Immediate Start | Contract Role | Supportive Finance Team

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable or Credit Officer looking for your next contract opportunity?

Our client is seeking a confident and proactive professional to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys building relationships with customers while ensuring outstanding accounts are collected in a professional and timely manner.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Contacting customers to follow up outstanding invoices and overdue accounts

- Building positive relationships while negotiating payment of outstanding debts

- Managing email correspondence relating to customer accounts

- Issuing customer statements and invoices

- Allocating customer payments accurately

- Reconciling customer accounts

- Investigating and resolving account queries

- Maintaining accurate customer records

- Assisting the wider finance team as required





About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role

- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone

- Strong attention to detail

- Experience allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

- Positive organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

- A positive, professional and team-focused attitude
