The Opportunity

We're looking for an Audit Senior to lead audit engagements for a diverse client base, including corporates, not-for-profits and privately owned businesses. As part of our Team, you will undertake a variety of work for PKF NENW Audit & Assurance clients and provide them with excellent care and support, while working in a team focused on achieving the Firm's objectives and exceeding expectations. Key responsibilities

- Supervise and mentor junior staff, review their work and provide constructive feedback.

- Prepare and review audit documentation, working papers and financial statement schedules.

- Identify and assess audit risks, design and perform appropriate audit procedures.

- Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies and independence requirements.

- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client engagement partners.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training and knowledge sharing.





- Help with time budgeting and timely completion of engagements.

About you

- CA / CPA qualified or close to completion.

- Experience working with a varied client portfolio with direct client liaison.

- 3+ years relevant experience in audit.

- Tech savvy with a working knowledge of different accounting software - Experience with Caseware a plus!

- High level of integrity and a team player.

- High level of problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Superb written and verbal communication skills.

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
