With a strong pipeline of projects across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs, Newlands Group is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering quality projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of construction sites from commencement through to handover.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, maintain program performance and ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all on-site construction activities and daily operations.

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.

- Ensure works are completed in accordance with project programs and specifications.

- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.

- Monitor site productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.

- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.

- Work closely with Project Managers, consultants and clients to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

- Manage defects,



commissioning activities and project handovers.

- Lead and foster a positive site culture that reflects Newlands' values.

About You

You are a capable and respected construction professional with strong leadership skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.

- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site management.

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and construction documentation.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
