We are looking for a Fabricator to join our workshop team and play an important role in delivering the products and solutions our customers rely on every day.

Role Responsibilities
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
- Fabricating components and assemblies to meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Working with tube, pipe, flanges, sheet metal, and structural materials
- Operating workshop equipment and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently
- Performing welding, cutting, fitting, grinding, and assembly tasks as required
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and workshop documentation
- Assisting with the manufacture of custom-engineered products and assemblies
- Supporting workshop projects from initial fabrication through to final assembly
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Collaborating with workshop personnel, warehouse staff, and management to achieve project outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement within workshop operations and manufacturing processes
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality fabricated solutions across multiple industries
Goals You'll Achieve in Your First Three Months
You will develop a solid understanding of the EPE business, our products, our customers, and the industries we support. You will build relationships across the workshop and broader business while becoming familiar with our systems, processes, and quality standards.
You will gain confidence working with the materials, equipment, and fabrication methods used throughout the workshop. You will understand how projects move from customer requirements through to manufacturing and delivery.
You will begin contributing independently to workshop productivity, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction through reliable workmanship,
attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
Experience You'll Need
- Previous fabrication experience within a workshop, manufacturing, mining, marine, or industrial environment
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication processes
- Sound understanding of fabrication principles and workshop practices
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Trade qualifications in fabrication or welding
Highly Regarded
- Experience with tube, pipe, flange, and sheet metal fabrication
- Experience working with heavy industrial, mining, or marine equipment
- Basic CNC experience
