AVADA Traffic Management is seeking an accomplished Regional Manager to lead a key Victorian operation.

This is a genuine business leadership opportunity for a commercially capable operational leader who can build strong teams, grow client relationships, improve delivery and achieve profitable results. Reporting to the State Manager, you will take ownership of regional safety, operations, people, customer outcomes and financial performance.

AVADA Traffic Management delivers essential traffic management and ancillary services to government, infrastructure, civil construction, utilities and maintenance clients throughout Australia and New Zealand. About the role

As Regional Manager, you will lead a safe, commercially successful traffic management business across your region. You will work closely with Supervisors, the rostering team and frontline operational employees to ensure work is delivered safely, in full, on time and to client specification.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role. You will spend time with your people, customers and key stakeholders, while using performance data to identify opportunities, manage risk and drive continuous improvement.

You will partner with the State Manager and internal teams across Business Development, HSEQ, Finance, Fleet and People & Culture to strengthen capability, improve profitability and grow the region.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead safe, compliant and efficient traffic management operations across the region

- Own regional P&L; performance, including budget delivery, revenue growth, gross margin, labour costs, fleet utilisation, overheads and cash flow

- Build and retain solid relationships with key clients, identify opportunities for recurring revenue and secure new work

- Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, the rostering team and frontline operational employees

- Set clear expectations and build an accountable, engaged and high-performing regional culture

- Champion visible safety leadership, HSEQ compliance, licensing, training, incident management and corrective actions

- Improve workforce planning, rostering, equipment allocation, depot performance and order-to-invoice accuracy

- Use operational and financial reporting to manage performance, identify risks and drive practical improvement

- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver regional business plans, tenders, customer solutions and growth initiatives

About you

You are a commercially minded operational leader who enjoys ownership, pace and complexity.



You know that sustainable performance comes from safe operations, capable people, trusted client relationships and disciplined commercial management.

You will bring:

- Proven experience leading a region, branch network, multi-site operation or significant operational business unit

- Demonstrated P&L;, budget, cost-control and margin-management accountability

- Strong people leadership experience, including leading Supervisors, frontline teams and operational support functions

- A record of improving safety, service delivery, productivity, utilisation, customer outcomes or profitability

- Experience managing key client relationships, retaining business and identifying new growth opportunities

- Experience in traffic management, civil construction, infrastructure, utilities, transport, logistics or another safety-critical, field-based environment

- Strong commercial judgement, communication and stakeholder management capability

- Confidence using systems, reports and performance data to lead a business

Traffic Management Implementation accreditation or higher, Traffic Controller accreditation, a White Card and experience in traffic management or civil infrastructure will be highly regarded.
