About the role

Haven Ridge is seeking a talented Front of House Manager / Event Coordinator to join our hospitality team on a part-time basis. Based in Grants Beach NSW 2445, this role is pivotal in creating exceptional guest experiences and orchestrating seamless events. You will be the face of Haven Ridge, managing both day-to-day front-of-house operations and coordinating special events that showcase our venue. This position offers the perfect opportunity to blend strategic hospitality management with creative event planning in a dynamic coastal setting.

Key responsibilities

- Reporting to the Venue Manager you will oversee front-of-house operations, including guest reception, seating arrangements and overall customer service excellence

- Coordinate and execute events from conception through to completion, managing logistics, timelines and vendor relationships

- Manage event bookings, contracts and client communications to ensure all expectations are met and exceeded

- Train, supervise and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver consistently outstanding service standards

- Liaise with kitchen and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service flow during both regular service and special events.

- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any concerns or feedback

- Maintain detailed event files, including timelines, menus, layouts and special requirements

- Promote Haven Ridge's event services and build relationships with potential clients

- Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations at all times

What we're looking for

- Availability Friday, Saturday & Sunday with flexibility on other weekdays depending on event schedule.

- Proven experience in front-of-house management within the hospitality or events industry

- Strong event coordination experience, including planning, logistics and execution of various event types

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure





- Demonstrated leadership capability and experience supervising hospitality teams

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with both staff and clients

- Robust organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail

- Proficiency in event management software and booking systems (preferred)

- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette

- Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) with bar experience.
