Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, leisure, rural and office properties throughout South East Queensland, you'll join a privately owned Family Office that values professionalism, quality workmanship and long-term relationships with both tenants and employees.

This role suits an experienced landscape maintenance officer who wants to stay hands on but also enjoys project planning, problem-solving, and dealing directly with people - you won’t be working off someone else's clipboard. The position reports directly to the Business Manager of the family Private Office and plays a vital role in maintaining landscaping standards and overseeing the smooth delivery of all landscape maintenance activities without the hassle of supervising large teams.

What You’ll Do:

- Carry out hands-on landscape maintenance across the property portfolio, including mowing, pruning, hedging, weeding, edging, fertilising, pest and disease management, and green waste removal.;

- Deliver small landscape projects & refurbishment works of existing landscaping from scope to completion (estimating costs, managing budgets, sourcing materials, hardscape & softscape construction, irrigation, establishment).

- Liaise with tenants, body corporates, trusted contractors and internal stakeholders to get the job done smoothly with minimal disruption.

- Apply safe work practices when performing duties.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environment regulations.

- Report any safety hazards or concerns to management in a timely manner.

- Implement effective controls to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards.





- Identify opportunities to improve landscaping presentation and recommend maintenance or improvement works.

About You

You're someone who notices the details that others miss. You enjoy planning ahead, take ownership of your work and are comfortable making decisions without supervision. You communicate well with people from all backgrounds and take pride in presenting properties to a consistently high standard.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar landscape maintenance role for at least five years and will bring:

- Relevant qualifications in Landscaping, Horticulture, Arboriculture or equivalent experience.

- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle suitable for travelling between properties.

- Ability to quote jobs, manage small budgets, and use basic digital tools (Excel, reporting, and maintenance software).





- Confidence with reading plans, drawings, codes & WHS standards.

- Experience developing annual landscape maintenance schedules, budgets and reporting on work progress.

- Sound knowledge of plants, seasonal gardening practices and landscape design and basic landscape construction principles.

- Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers and chainsaws.

- A friendly, professional manner— you’ll be trusted to deal directly with stakeholders.

- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Willingness to complete relevant training as required (we’ll support this).

- Qualifications in commercial or domestic irrigation installation and repair will be highly regarded.

Additional Information about the role

The role is based across a South-East Queensland property portfolio.

Some weekend or after-hours work may be required occasionally (e.g. emergencies or special projects).
