The successful contractor will provide expert analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and support services across the SAP HR and Payroll landscape on SAP S/4HANA. Working closely with Payroll, Human Resources, and technology stakeholders, the role will deliver compliant, business-critical solutions that support operational excellence, system enhancements, upgrades, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The SAP HR Functional Expert will:

- Provide support for the SAP HR solution including SAP Payroll including support for ongoing critical HR projects. This includes Payroll Optimisation Project (POP) initiatives for HR such as Standardisation of Awards, Timesheet to Pay automation, and Automation of Pay Run as well as being a key resource for HR Support Packs implementation, ongoing BAU functional support for HCM and Payroll.
- Lead functional and technical analysis, investigation, design and implementation of complex system enhancements and defect resolution activities.
- Translate complex business processes and preparing documentation for rectifying defects, recent or re-engineered systems or solutions.
- Design, develop and document difficult and complex programs for HCM and Payroll SAP modules

SAP HR Functional Configuration





The contractor will:

- Design, configure and implement SAP HR and Payroll solutions
- Complete unit testing and support integration, regression and user acceptance testing activities.
- Maintain all required technical and functional documentation as applicable.

Mandatory Experience and Skills

The successful contractor must demonstrate:

- A proven track record and strong experience in Payroll support, design and configuration including rules and schemas.
- Proven ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into SAP HR solutions.
- Experience preparing required document deliverables of high quality, and supporting solution delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Excellent communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Provide credible expert advice and influence outcomes across business and technical stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

- More than 7 years extensive SAP HR / Payroll experience
- Experience with SAP HR upgrades, enhancement packs and support pack implementations.
