- Design workflows, approvals, alerts and reporting aligned with business needs and Delegation of Authority requirements

- Strengthen master data, reporting standards, KPI ownership and data governance

- Partner with functional leaders across Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations and Finance

- Map processes, identify duplicated or manual effort and implement practical automation and improvement initiatives

- Translate complex data and system requirements into concise, decision-ready information for non-technical stakeholders.

What you will bring

- A degree in business, commerce, finance, accounting, data analytics, information systems, engineering or a related discipline

- At least five years of experience in business performance, commercial or financial analysis, management reporting, analytics or ERP/business systems improvement

- Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated experience developing dashboards and executive-level reporting

- Solid ERP capability and an understanding of how systems, workflows and data support better business decisions

- Commercial acumen and the ability to interpret financial, operational and project based performance data

- Strong analytical thinking,

attention to detail and confidence challenging the quality or meaning of data

- The communication and influencing skills to work effectively with executives, managers, system providers and operational teams

- A proactive mindset and genuine interest in process improvement, automation and continuous improvement.

Highly regarded

- Experience with MYOB Advanced or a similar ERP platform

- Power BI, SQL or equivalent business intelligence and reporting capability

- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, mining services or another project based industrial environment

- Exposure to job costing, WIP, inventory, procurement and project gross margin reporting

- CPA, CA, MBA, Lean, Six Sigma or process-mapping qualifications or experience.

Why join Phoenix EMS?

- A newly created role with executive sponsorship and scope to build the function properly

- High visibility across the business and direct influence on strategic and operational decisions

- The opportunity to shape ERP capability, reporting standards and scalable processes during a period of growth

- A broad role combining data, commercial insight, systems and real-world operational improvement.

Apply

If you can turn data into insight, improve the systems behind it and help leaders make better decisions, we would like to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a short cover letter describing the reporting, ERP or business improvement capability you have built.

Phoenix EMS is committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
