Medical Receptionist – Full Time | Eye Associates, Sydney

Located in Macquarie Street, Sydney, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time onsite Medical Receptionist to join our professional team. If you're passionate about healthcare, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love working with people, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering professional and warm patient service
- Managing phone and email enquiries with efficiency and empathy
- Administration tasks
- Opening and closing the practice
- Coordinating patient appointments and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Handling and resolving patient queries
- Invoicing, receipting, and reconciliation
- Ordering clinical and office supplies
- Liaising with referrers,
suppliers, and third parties
- Supporting and guiding fellow reception team members
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical reception role
- Australian medical reception experience is essential for this position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for providing exceptional patient care
- Proactive mindset
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Advanced proficiency in electronic medical record systems with ability to utilise complex functions
- Professional, reliable, and mature attitude
- Flexible and solutions-oriented approach
- Previous experience in ophthalmology is ideal but not essential
- Current Australian work rights are required for this position
Hours Range Between:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary is commensurate with experience.
