HomeRepair is seeking experienced building professionals to join our growing National Desktop Assessing team.

If you're a Builder, Carpenter, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Estimator looking for a flexible role where you can leverage your technical expertise while working remotely, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Desktop Assessor, you'll:

- Assess residential property damage and repair scopes
- Review builder quotations and repair costs
- Conduct virtual customer assessments
- Interpret technical and specialist reports
- Work closely with trades, field assessors and case managers
- Deliver high-quality customer outcomes across insurance repairs

What You'll Bring Essential

- Trade qualification in the building industry
- Experience supervising residential repairs or building projects
- Strong understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC)
- Ability to assess repair scopes and costs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

- Insurance experience
- Weather event or catastrophe repair experience




- Policy interpretation experience
- Project Management qualifications
- Strong reporting or data analysis capability
