Our client, a leading Institutional Bank based in the CBD requires an experienced Institutional Equities Settlements Associate to join their team.

The team act as the primary support that deals with the daily processing of all Institutional Settlements tasks.

You will need excellent communication skills whilst liaising with the sales & trading desk, the clients and various external stakeholders. Whilst working in this team your main responsibilities will include:

- Matching and monitoring DVP trades.
- Monitoring CHESS obligations. Providing a listing of short position to Scrip Lending team to arrange borrowing.
- Chasing unmatched and failed trades and ensuring failed trades are reported.
- Completing all tasks relating to Current Zealand equities settlements,



Exchange Traded Options transactions & OTC Premiums flow.
- Processing payments and receipts for rebates, soft dollar and commission sharing arrangements.
- Investigating and resolving stock and cash reconciliation breaks.
- Preparing daily trust reconciliations.
- Processing ASX Cash Market Margin for equities trading.

The successful candidate will also possess:

- Industry knowledge of 4-7 years in Australian/International equities markets
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
