Our newly established Civil Division is building a specialist self-perform capability across Australia and New Zealand, delivering civil infrastructure including site preparation, foundations, roads, drainage and high-voltage substation works for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Site H&S; Advisor to join our Queensland project team.
This is a hands-on, site-based role working closely with construction teams, supervisors, subcontractors and the workforce to ensure H&S; is embedded into how work is planned and delivered.
As our Civil Division continues to grow, you will play an key role in establishing strong H&S; practices and culture, providing practical advice and helping construction teams identify and manage risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide visible, hands-on H&S; leadership across civil construction activities.
- Support supervisors and crews with risk assessments, SWMS, JHAs and practical risk controls.
- Conduct site inspections, observations and compliance checks and drive action on identified risks.
- Lead and support incident, hazard and near-miss investigations, including ICAM.
- Engage and coach workers, supervisors and subcontractors through field leadership, pre-starts and toolbox talks.




- Identify opportunities to improve H&S; practices and contribute to a strong safety culture.

About You
You will be a credible, practical H&S; professional who enjoys being on site and working directly with construction teams.

You will ideally bring:

- 10+ years' H&S; experience within construction, civil infrastructure or major projects.
- Strong recent site-based construction experience and practical knowledge of construction H&S; requirements.
- Experience across civil activities including earthworks, mobile plant and subcontractor management.
- The ability to influence, coach and challenge supervisors, subcontractors and work crews.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in renewable energy, solar, BESS, substations or other major infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
Relevant H&S; qualifications, incident investigation experience, White Card, First Aid/CPR and a current driver's licence are required or advantageous as applicable.
