About the role

We’re looking for an experienced retail leader to take ownership of our Ayr store and lead a small, hands-on team.

As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of your store — from developing your team and delivering excellent customer experiences to driving sales, managing stock and maintaining high operational standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing people and taking ownership of results.

Full-time preferred, with part-time arrangements considered for the right candidate.

Duties

As Store Manager, you will:

- Lead, coach and develop your team to achieve great results

- Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance

- Maintain high standards across customer service, merchandising and store presentation

- Manage rostering, wages, stock, inventory and day-to-day store operations

- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community

Skills & experience

We’re looking for someone with:

- Previous retail management or strong retail leadership experience

- Confidence leading,



coaching and developing a team

- A good understanding of KPIs, budgets, wages and stock management

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- A hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of store performance

Experience within the pet industry is not essential — we’ll provide the training and support you need to build your product and animal care knowledge.
