The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with an established South Australian commercial subcontractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team.

Working across commercial projects for a range of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders, this business operates in a fast-moving project environment where strong organisation, clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

This opportunity would particularly suit someone who has built their career within flooring, tiling, carpet, commercial finishes or a trade-based environment and understands the pace and coordination required to successfully deliver subcontract packages.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for multiple projects at different stages, managing everything from initial handover and quoting through to scheduling, site coordination and completion.

You will be involved in:

- Managing multiple commercial projects concurrently
- Preparing quotes and assisting with project costing
- Scheduling labour, trades, materials and site works
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Coordinating subcontractors, installers, suppliers and deliveries
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with builders and clients
- Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key deadlines are achieved
- Managing variations,



defects and project close-out
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting
- Working closely with internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently

This is a hands-on Project Management position requiring someone who is comfortable moving between the office and site, managing competing deadlines and staying across the detail of multiple live projects.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys a busy environment, communicates confidently with clients and knows how to keep projects organised and moving.

You will ideally bring:

- 5+ years' Project Management experience within commercial construction or a subcontracting environment
- Previous experience within flooring, tiling, carpet or commercial finishes highly regarded
- Alternatively, a strong trade background with established Project Management experience
- Robust scheduling, quoting and project coordination capability
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Confidence conducting site visits and working directly with builders, trades and clients
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- A highly organised and practical approach to problem-solving
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
