About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging Digital Technologies programs across Years 7–12, including senior secondary subjects.
- Develop students' capabilities across areas such as programming, computational thinking, data, digital systems and problem-solving.
- Design practical and contemporary learning experiences that encourage students to apply technology creatively and critically.
- Assess student learning using formative and summative approaches and provide explicit, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, moderation and resource development.
- Contribute positively to the wider life and culture of the school community.
About You You are:
- Passionate about Digital Technologies, with the subject knowledge and confidence to engage students from junior secondary through to senior years.
- Student-centred and relationship-focused, with an ability to make complex concepts accessible to learners with different levels of experience.
- Curious and contemporary, maintaining an interest in emerging technologies and their application within education.
- Creative and adaptable, developing practical learning experiences that encourage problem-solving, experimentation and independent thinking.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, contributing positively to faculty planning and the broader school community.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Current (or ability to obtain) QCT registration
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to teach Digital Technologies across Years 7–12
