Job Description:

El Mexicano Hyde Park is looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas.
Assist with basic food preparation when required.
Dispose of rubbish and recycling, and keep waste areas clean.
Receive and store deliveries following food safety procedures.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to high hygiene standards.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods.
Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:




Previous kitchen hand or dishwasher experience is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads.
