We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Cleaning & Accommodation Supervisor to join our Defence team at Townsville. This role is critical in leading day-to-day cleaning and accommodation services, ensuring high standards across site facilities while supporting a protected, compliant and high-performing team workplace.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in delivering essential services within a fast-paced operational setting, working closely with site leadership and operational teams to maintain hygiene, safety and service excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning and housekeeping services.
Manage scheduled and reactive cleaning requirements.
Develop and maintain staff rosters.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ and safety standards.
Maintain high cleaning and hygiene standards.
Support laundry, linen and accommodation services as required.
Provide excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Complete reporting, audits and stock control activities.
Oversee accommodation operations to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents.




Support the efficient allocation, readiness and presentation of accommodation facilities.

What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a supervisory cleaning or facilities role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
High attention to detail and standards.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Certificate IV in Cleaning Management (desirable).
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence Security Clearance.
Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
