Live and Learn Group are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join the team at their Day Program and/or SIL Home located in Penrith.

We are looking for individuals who possess the right empathy and ethic with suitable experience to work with our Individual Support clients.

We are looking for staff who have availability for DAY SHIFT, AFTERNOON SHIFT and SLEEPOVER SHIFT on weekdays and weekends.

To be successful in this role you must:
be reliable and have a good work ethic
have your own comprehensively insured vehicle
have reliable availability
be able to write comprehensive shift notes, especially documenting behaviours
have pride on providing personal care with dignity and respect
have a happy and bubbly personality
be able to build rapport easily with clients and co-workers
have the ability to be versatile, strong and resilient in challenging situations

What You'll Do:
provide daily living support, cooking and light household duties
transport participants to appointments, daily activities and community access




support participants with personal hygiene, self-care, shopping, general tasks and domestic duties
assist individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities
work within clearly defined guidelines and follow procedures
complete comprehensive shift progress notes
