We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Bundaberg team.

UHI Machinery is expanding and opening a current branch in Bundaberg, QLD.

We are currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Bundaberg team.

This is a stable, long-term role in a hands‑on workshop environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working on machinery and wants consistent work with a growing company.

What you’ll be doing
Service, repair and maintain tractors and other machineries
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical issues
Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and machine setup
Prepare machines for delivery and handover
Perform routine servicing and fault finding
Maintain a clean and organised workshop
Unloading machines and attachments
Assist with general workshop duties as required

What we’re looking for




Minimum 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic
Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Experience with tractors, agricultural or construction machinery preferred
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues
Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
A team player and eye on details
Reliable, hands‑on and takes pride in their work
