About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day venue operations across gaming, bar and bistro — leading your team, maintaining high standards, and helping drive the venue's ongoing growth.

Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue
Leading, coaching and supporting the team
Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns
Ensuring compliance with gaming, liquor and workplace health & safety regulations
Monitoring gaming and hospitality operations to maintain high standards
Managing staff rosters and labour costs
Supporting recruitment, training and employee development
Assisting with managing cash handling, stock control and operational reporting
Coordinating maintenance to keep the venue well presented
Driving continuous improvement and contributing to business growth
Supporting the General Manager as required

About You
Previous experience in a venue management, operations or senior supervisory role within gaming or hospitality
Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach,



motivate and manage a diverse team
Solid understanding of gaming and liquor compliance requirements
A hands-on approach — comfortable on the floor and leading by example
Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

Desirable Qualifications
Current Responsible Service of Gaming Certificate (RSG)
Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
Victorian Gaming Licence
