Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chef to train our kitchen staff. The successful candidate will train our kitchen staff in authentic Japanese cuisine & sushi preparation and quality control techniques. They will also be required to propose creative ideas for recent course menu. This role requires an energetic approach to delivering high-quality Japanese cuisine. This is a fixed-term position for six months. Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Teaching the staff how to select high-quality seafood from local suppliers
Inspecting ingredients and dishes to ensure high-quality standards
Training the staff in authentic Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation and quality control techniques




Training the staff to comply with health and safety regulations relevant to sushi and seafood preparation
Overseeing all stages of food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation.
Reviewing and improving our existing menu based on seasonal trends, customer preferences and costs
Proposing a recent set-course menu based on his expertise
