Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to accurate and timely payroll processing while providing support to your teammates on day-to-day payroll queries. An exciting opportunity is available for a Payroll Officer to join a busy and cooperative team in Chatswood. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to accurate and timely payroll processing while providing support to your teammates on day-to-day payroll queries. This role works in a small, but busy team where you will have the opportunity to learn from an accomplished Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Processing end-to-end payroll, including recent starters, bank changes, superannuation, salary adjustments, allowances, deductions and terminations




Following documented payroll checking procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy across all tasks
Assisting with the calculation and processing of termination payments
Supporting the administration and processing of PAYG, superannuation and other third-party payments

The successful applicant
Capable of processing high volume payrolls
Experience with a major payroll system essential
Approachable attitude and friendly to other team members
Some experience working with different awards; basic knowledge of interpretation
High attention to detail, completing work with a high level of accuracy
