Janes and Stewart Structural & Civil Consultants (JS²) is a well-respected provider of structural & civil engineering consulting services to the Central Queensland region.

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our experienced and cooperative team based in Rockhampton.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career while working alongside highly skilled professionals on projects from concept through to construction completion.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working collaboratively within a team of experienced structural and civil engineers.
Delivering civil engineering solutions from project inception through to construction completion.
Undertaking a broad range of civil engineering design and documentation, including:
Earthworks
Access roads and parking facilities
Pavement design
Stormwater drainage
Water and sewer infrastructure
Assisting with development approvals and statutory authority processes.
Conducting site inspections and assisting with contract administration during construction.
Travelling to project sites throughout Central Queensland as required.




Contributing across a diverse range of projects and supporting the wider engineering team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
Qualifications suitable to progress towards RPEQ registration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
A current Australian Driver Licence.
