Trade Assistant / Labourer (Stainless Steel Fabrication)

Are you an experienced Trade Assistant or Labourer ready for a new challenge? Do you have hands-on experience in a stainless-steel fabrication workshop or the metal manufacturing industry? FSI Engineering wants you!

We are a leading provider of custom-engineered solutions across industries including water treatment, concrete batching, mining, food processing, and building materials manufacturing. Our projects range from dosing systems and concrete plants to silos, conveying systems, and dust extraction systems.

What You'll Do

Assist tradespeople with day-to-day fabrication tasks

Clean and passivate stainless-steel equipment

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Ensure the quality and safety of workshop outputs

Support a busy, collaborative team in a fast-paced workplace

What We're Looking For

LF licence required for forklift operation

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role





Experience acceptable in either stainless steel fabrication or metal manufacturing industry

Strong attention to quality and detail

Highly motivated, reliable, and a true team player

Willingness to work overtime when needed (penalty rates apply)

Desire to learn current skills and grow professionally

Valid Australian work visa required
