Experienced Sales Tech or Ready to Take the Next Step Off the Tools?

We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Sales Technician to join our Brisbane-based metal fabrication business.

This opportunity is suited to either:
An experienced Sales Technician within manufacturing or fabrication, or
A trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker or Boilermaker/Fabricator looking to transition into a long-term technical sales career.

If you understand fabrication, can communicate well with customers, and enjoy problem-solving, we’d like to hear from you.

About the Role
Assisting customers with fabrication and manufacturing solutions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
Preparing quotations and managing customer enquiries
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Coordinating with production, and workshop teams
Supporting business growth through strong customer service and technical knowledge

About You

We welcome applicants who are either:
Experienced in technical sales within manufacturing or fabrication industries
OR
Trade qualified in Sheet Metal or Boilermaking/Fabrication and looking to move into a customer-focused role

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Solid understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes




Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Positive communication and relationship-building skills
Professional and reliable attitude
Solid organisational and problem-solving abilities
A willingness to learn and grow within the role
