Building Industry Training – Maroochydore QLD

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join our team and develop a rewarding career in the construction industry. This is an excellent prospect for someone who is keen to learn, works well in a team setting, and is committed to completing a nationally recognised qualification in Carpentry.

As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of residential and commercial construction projects while receiving structured training and support from experienced tradespeople.

Building Industry Training (BIT) will deliver the off-the-job training component of the apprenticeship and provide ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship journey.

Key Duties
Assist qualified carpenters with a variety of construction tasks.
Learn and apply carpentry skills in a secure and productive manner.
Use hand and power tools under supervision.
Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing building materials.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite.




Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Attend and successfully complete all training requirements delivered by Building Industry Training.
Current Construction White Card.
Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Carpentry.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
Current driver's licence.
Reliable vehicle and transport to travel to various worksites.
