About Our Client

The client is a major global market leader in the freight forwarding space across international air, ocean and overland freight transport.

Job Description
To identify and contact prospective customers, seeking opportunities for increased and profitable sales on current and existing accounts, assessing needs to match with own products/ service/ alternative products/ services, recommending solutions, gaining the trust of the customer to close the sale.
To work with all key stakeholders to support and ensure the successful implementation of new business and onboarding of current customers in order to ensure proper operational handover.
To build internal networks and relationships to support business development and customer retention.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales/ BD Executive should have:
Proven experience in sales,



preferably within the freight forwarding space
preferably has managed Airfreight Sales. Ocean freight might also be considered
has proven relationships in the market across critical market stakeholders
has had a experience in current business development while managing some key account relationships as well
