My client is seeking to appoint a senior/principal underwriter to the Retail team of their high performing business.

You will be able to demonstrate
Significant underwriting experience across all Life Insurance products, IP/TPD/Death
Excellent financial and medical underwriting technical skills with high authority levels




Proven experience in coaching and mentoring senior underwriters to improve skills
Excellent QA results for the past 2 years
Excellent advisor relationships and significant advisor meeting and presentation experience

The role
Acting as a 2IC to the State Manager
Underwriting complex and high value Retail cases across all product lines
Sign off for senior underwriters for cases above their DA's
Coaching and mentoring senior underwriters to improve technical skills
Advisor visits with distribution teams to enhance relationships
