At Big Fat Smile, you will provide high‑quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0‑5, fostering relationships with children, families and the broader community.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding Children

Safeguarding children is central to all decisions and practices at Big Fat Smile. We require:
A cleared valid NSW Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
A cleared National Criminal Record Check
Demonstrated commitment to protecting all children from abuse, harm and neglect
Commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
Minimum two referees, one being a manager or supervisor at your most recent workplace
