The Role

The Senior Food Technologist will play a key role in driving new product development, product optimisation, and commercialisation projects across a diverse product portfolio.

/n

Key responsibilities include:

/n

/n
Leading product development and innovation projects from concept through to commercial launch

/n
Managing product reformulation, optimisation, and value engineering initiatives to support business and customer objectives

/n
Collaborating closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes

/n
Conducting factory trials, scale-up activities, and commercialisation programs across manufacturing sites

/n
Monitoring consumer,



market, ingredient, and technology trends to identify prospects for innovation and growth

/n
Managing customer development briefs and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope

/n
Building robust relationships with suppliers and external partners to support product innovation

/n
Ensuring all products comply with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements

Your Background

/n

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:

/n

/n
Previous experience within Food Technology, Product Development, Innovation, or R&D; in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment

/n
Proven experience delivering successful NPD and commercialisation projects

/n
Robust technical understanding of food manufacturing processes, ingredients, and product development methodologies

/n
Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams

/n
Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
