Felons Brewing Co. is seeking a passionate and talented Commis Chef – Pizza to join our culinary team at Howard Smith Wharves.
Home to our iconic riverside beer garden and buzzing waterfront atmosphere, Felons is known for delivering exceptional food, great beer, and memorable guest experiences.We're looking for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing consistently high-quality pizzas, and brings energy, teamwork, and professionalism to every service.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas in line with recipe and presentation standardsAssisting with dough preparation, mise en place, and ingredient preparation for serviceMaintaining consistency, portion control, and food quality standards during busy periodsSupporting stock rotation and kitchen organisation in line with FIFO proceduresMaintaining a clean and organised section in accordance with food safety and HACCP standardsWorking closely with the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth and efficient serviceWhat we are looking for:Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualificationPrevious experience working with wood-fired, gas,



or deck pizza ovensFood Safety Certificate and a strong understanding of kitchen hygiene practicesAbility to perform under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environmentPassion for quality ingredients and delivering exceptional guest experiencesPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-focused approachAvailability to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredWhy you'll love working for us?
