Your opportunity
As the Security Operations Manager, you will be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and will lead the operational cybersecurity function; ensuring threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents are identified, managed, and resolved swiftly.

Here's how you'll do it:
Lead and manage SOC analysts and security operations staff
Oversee threat monitoring, detection, and incident response activities
Develop and maintain security runbooks, incident response plans, and escalation procedures
Ensure vulnerability management processes are executed effectively.
Coordinate threat intelligence gathering and integration into detection capabilities
Manage relationships with MSSPs and cybersecurity vendors
Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement of security controls, processes, and tooling
Conduct post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned
Ensure staff training, wellbeing, and performance management
Oversee user-focused security controls such as MFA, endpoint protection, and secure access
Ensure security measures balance protection with user experience
Drive awareness initiatives and training to uplift end-user security behaviour
Monitor security-related user issues and reduce friction in secure workflows
What you'll bring
We believe the successful candidate will have strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
You'll bring:
Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ACSC E8 and ISO *****)




Experience leading SOC or cyber operations teams
Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms
Experience with security incident management and response
Relevant tertiary qualification in cybersecurity, IT, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years leadership experience in security operations
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred
Experience with security tooling and SOC operations
