About the Role
As a Hospitality Employee at IRT St Georges Basin, you will contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and their families.
You will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality services, ensuring meals are served with care, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.




This is a permanent part-time position requiring availability to work split shifts that is available throughout the week (8:00 am–1:30 pm and 3:30 pm–6:30 pm).
Please note that applicants must be available to work both the morning and afternoon portions of the split shift.
Your work may include:
Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
Delivering and serving meals to our residents
General laundry duties, including personal laundry
Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
Helping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas
To Be Successful You Will Have
Experience delivering hospitality (desirable)
A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
Availability to work a range of shift
