Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you'll have the chance to influence change, drive continuous improvement and build a function that grows alongside the business.You'll have the opportunity to build, lead and influence how fraud prevention and quality assurance evolve across the business, while driving a culture of continuous improvement that strengthens controls, protects customers and supports sustainable growth.This role will evolve a lot over the first ***** months, with genuine scope to grow as the business expands into new products and markets.What you'll be doing:Lead Avanti's fraud detection, prevention and response activities across the end to end lending lifecycleIdentify emerging fraud trends,



investigate suspicious activity and implement practical solutions to reduce riskDevelop and enhance fraud reporting, insights and controls that support better business decisionsDrive fraud awareness across Credit, Settlements, Distribution and other key business areasConduct targeted quality assurance and hindsight reviews to ensure lending decisions align with policy and risk requirementsCreate and deliver a business wide continuous improvement programme that strengthens processes, controls and customer outcomesIdentify control weaknesses and implement improvements that reduce fraud exposure and operational riskPartner with stakeholders across lending, risk and compliance to embed better fraud prevention and detection practicesStay ahead of industry fraud trends and introduce innovative approaches to protect the businessWhat we're looking for:Strong fraud management experience within lending, banking or financial servicesA practical understanding of fraud prevention, detection, investigation and control designExperience working with QA, audit, hindsight review or assurance frameworksKnowledge of fraud monitoring tools, reporting and risk management processesExperience with fraud reporting platforms such as Protecht and industry fraud intelligence solutionsThe ability to influence stakeholders and drive meaningful change across a businessStrong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into actionExperience within consumer lending, asset finance or broader credit environmentsA hands on approach with the confidence to build and shape a function rather than simply maintain oneIf you're someone who enjoys creating, improving and challenging the status quo, and you want the chance to build something rather than inherit a finished product, we'd love to hear from you.
