About the RoleTerry's Tradies Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Locksmith Workshop Manager to lead our Burleigh Heads workshop.Reporting directly to the General Manager, this senior leadership role combines hands‐on locksmithing with workshop management, staff leadership and operational oversight.
You will be responsible for leading our workshop team, maintaining high standards of workmanship, improving productivity and ensuring the smooth day‐to‐day operation of the business.What You'll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Leading, mentoring and supporting workshop locksmiths and apprenticesManaging daily workshop operations, workflow and job allocationScheduling work to maximise productivity and efficiencyQuality assurance of completed work before dispatchProviding technical guidance and support to workshop staff and on road locksmithsPreparing quotations and assisting with technical customer enquiriesManaging inventory, purchasing and supplier relationshipsMaintaining workshop equipment and a safe,
organised workplaceEnsuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirementsWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role you will have:Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified locksmithPrevious workshop leadership or supervisory experienceStrong technical knowledge across residential, commercial and automotive locksmithingExperience with Promaster key manager software and restricted key systemsExperience cutting and programming automotive keys, ignition repairs etcStrong organisational, leadership and problem‐solving skillsExperience managing stock and purchasingWhy This Role?
