This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering targeted, student-centered learning within a supportive, trauma-informed environment.In this role, you will play a key part in helping students engage with education, build confidence, and work towards achieving their personal and academic goals.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to creating a safe, inclusive school culture where every student is supported to succeed.Your Day-to-day Will InvolveDevelop and implement engaging learning aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9Build strong, trust-based relationships with students, supporting their wellbeing and growthGuide classroom behaviour using calm, consistent and trauma-informed approachesWork closely with Youth Workers and support staff to respond to student needsCollaborate with families, carers and external services to support student outcomesParticipate in team planning, case discussions and school activitiesMonitor attendance,
track progress and maintain accurate student recordsAbout YouYou are a passionate and adaptable educator who is committed to supporting young people to re-engage with learning and achieve their goals.
You build solid, respectful relationships across the school community and bring a calm, compassionate approach particularly when working with students at risk.You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside youth workers and support staff to provide consistent, student-centered support.
