This is a pivotal role supporting our surgeons, patients, and broader practice team through a combination of clinical care, patient education, and administrative coordination.In this diverse and hands‐on position, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality patient care across all stages of the surgical journey.Key responsibilitiesCoordinating theatre lists and managing surgeon schedulesConducting patient clinical assessments (including pre-procedure screening)Providing pre- and post-operative care and patient educationSupporting patients with procedure preparationManaging patient enquiries and escalating clinical concerns as requiredLiaising with hospitals, anaesthetists,



and other healthcare providersAssisting with emergency bookings and short-notice casesMaintaining infection control standards and a clean clinical environmentAdministrative SupportManaging appointments, patient bookings, and remindersProcessing billing, Medicare claims, and paymentsMaintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentationSupporting the practice team to ensure efficient daily operationsAbout YouCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRAPrevious experience in surgical, perioperative, or specialist practice nursingStrong clinical skills, particularly in post-operative care and patient educationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approachHigh attention to detail and strong organisational abilitiesThe ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentConfidence working both independently and as part of a teamSound knowledge of Medicare and private health processesExperience with clinical software systemsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a small, professional team in a respected specialist surgical practice where your contribution will make a meaningful difference in patient care.
