Airland Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Export Airfreight Operator to join our dynamic freight and cargo forwarding team.
This is a full-time position based in our Applecross, WA facility.
As an Export Airfreight Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating air export transportation.
Your work will be integral to ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movement of cargo through our operations, directly contributing to our clients' success and our company's reputation in the logistics industry.What you'll be doingProcessing and managing export airfreight shipments from initial booking through to final dispatchPreparing and verifying export documentation including air waybills, customs declarations, invoices, and certificates of originCoordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and shipping clients to arrange timely collection and delivery of cargoManaging cargo storage, organisation and inventory within the warehouse facilityPerforming quality checks on shipments to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and client requirementsLiaising with customs authorities and government agencies to facilitate smooth export clearanceTracking and monitoring shipments to provide accurate status updates to clientsMaintaining detailed records of all export transactions and ensuring accurate data entry into logistics systemsAdhering to health, safety and security protocols whilst handling freight and hazardous materialsContributing to the efficiency of warehouse operations and supporting team members as requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience as an Airfreight Operator or in a similar export freight forwarding roleStrong knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and export regulationsProficiency with freight forwarding software and logistics management systems.




Cargo wise experience is mandatoryExcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple shipmentsAttention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and data entryStrong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external clientsCompetency in using Microsoft Office applications and standard computer systemsPhysical capability to handle freight and materials safely, including occasional heavy liftingA valid driver's licence is advantageousFamiliarity with IATA regulations and dangerous goods handling is highly desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environmentFull-time working VISA rights in Australia is mandatoryWhat we offerAirland Logistics Pty Ltd is committed to supporting the professional development and well-being of our employees.
