About the roleSAPE Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver/Storeman to join our team on a full-time basis at our Southport facility in QLD.
This is a pivotal role that combines warehouse operations with delivery responsibilities, ensuring the seamless movement of goods and maintaining the efficiency of our distribution network.
You will be responsible for both the safe storage and organisation of inventory, as well as the timely and professional delivery of products to our customers.
This position is integral to our operations, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall success of SAPE Group.What you'll be doingOperating and maintaining company vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to customersLoading and unloading vehicles with products whilst ensuring cargo is secured and protectedConducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues or safety concernsMaintaining accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times and any discrepanciesReceiving and processing incoming inventory, checking items against delivery documentationOrganising and storing stock in the warehouse using appropriate storage methods and systemsPicking and packing orders in preparation for delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detailOperating warehouse equipmentMaintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulationsCommunicating with customers in a professional manner regarding delivery times and any delaysCompany vehicles are Class C automatic vansWhat we're looking forValid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles being operated, with a clean driving recordProven experience in a driver or storeman role, ideally within a warehousing or distribution environmentPhysical fitness and capability to lift,
