Role
Our Customer Service Officers are the heart of our business, providing key services such as reception duties, membership sales, and delivering quality customer service at all times in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures.
This is a casual role for weekday evenings and some weekend work.
The primary responsibility of our Customer Service Officers is to deliver first class services to our customers, ensuring they are in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone or by email
Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
Provide customers inquiring about memberships with the information they need, and possess the confidence to sell memberships
Membership administration duties such as suspensions and cancellations
Use our systems to contact potential members throughout their customer journey
Promote the centre's services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments




Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
Promote and exercise good public relations at all times
Open or close the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures
Qualifications and Skills
Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
Computer literacy and familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
Experience in the leisure industry is desirable
Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
Current CPR Certificate
Police Check
Working with Children Check
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; however, candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply.
