Role Summary
As the Food & Beverage Attendant, you will support event clients, customers and guests during special occasions within the hotel.
Working in a team, you will assist the Events Supervisor and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in day‐to‐day operations and help achieve our purpose of delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities
Meet and greet guests arriving and departing functions and meetings
Assist with set‐up of functions and meeting spaces, adhering to safe manual handling practices
Deliver personalized service in a large‐scale operation
Ensure the delivery of brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times
Serve food and beverage to guests according to established sequence of service and procedures
Maintain constant communication with the kitchen team and sales & marketing team
Qualifications
Previous restaurant or events experience in a hotel or fast‐paced environment




Valid and current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate for Victoria
Solid interpersonal, communication and time‐management skills
Excellent guest service skills, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to create a positive first impression
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
