The Bloomfield Group invites you to join our team at Rix's Creek Mine in an exciting Electrical Tradesperson role.
As a member of our team, your coal processing and maintenance expertise will be crucial in the protected and efficient operation of the CHPP, playing an integral role in achieving both safety and production targets.
Please note this role will work a Monday to Friday night shift roster.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate the CHPP in a safe, efficient and productive mannerCollaborate with the team on meeting safety, maintenance and production goals through efficient practicesPerform quality inspections of CHPP equipment and areas, documenting as per legislative and operational requirementsUtilise your processing expertise to deliver a high standard of operation, contributing to the smooth functioning of the CHPPUtilise your trade /operating skills to proactively identify potential issuesSafely and efficiently provide breakdown repairsProvide quality trade-based maintenance in the washery and on associated coal handling infrastructureEssential CriteriaDemonstrated commitment to safe work practicesElectrical Trade Qualification with NSWQualified Electrical Supervisors CertificateCHPP operating experienceSound knowledge of coal processingKnowledge of relevant standards and statutory requirementsExperience in troubleshooting and diagnosticsExcellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with fellow team membersCurrent NSW Driver's LicenceDesirable CriteriaExperience maintaining open cut earth moving equipmentRelevant work cover tickets C6, EWP, forklift, confined spaceHigh Voltage training and experienceWorking with The Bloomfield GroupThe Bloomfield Group is a proud Australian mining and engineering business that has been part of the Hunter Valley community for over 85 years, employing around 600 local people.
