Rewarding Salary + Annual Bonuses + Yearly Salary Reviews.The OpportunityWe're seeking a talented Cost Controller to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance analysis as part of our Finance Team.
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders, enhance financial processes, and drive continuous improvement to support effective decision‐making.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and management of budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, cash flow and month-end financial reportingMonitor project/bid expenditures and track costs against approved budgetsConduct variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to senior stakeholdersPrepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and commentaryPartner with business units to explain financial performance and identify opportunitiesIdentify cost risks and implement cost control measuresReview contractor invoices,
purchase orders, and change requests for accuracyUpdate and review revenue claims to ensure accuracy and completenessAssist with corporate planning cycles and long‐range financial modellingContribute to improvements in reporting, systems, and financial governanceSupport compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and organisational policiesRequired Skills and CompetenciesExperience in a finance, commercial, or analytical role within a complex organisationStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret data into clear insightsHigh proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, TM1, Power BI desirable)Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levelsDegree qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplineProgression toward CA/CPA (preferred but not essential)ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer ****, ****, **** & **** certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.Since establishing a presence in Australia in ****, ACCIONA has made significant investments in local opportunities and project development.
