About UsCIP Constructions is a leading commercial / industrial construction company delivering high-quality projects across Australia, with a solid commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability, we foster a culture where people, performance and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced HSEQ Operational Lead to support the Head of HSEQ in driving excellence across our integrated management systems and operational safety practices.This is a hands-on, influential role where you'll partner closely with State Managers and project teams across South and Western Australia to ensure compliance, improve performance, and embed a proactive HSEQ culture across all sites.Key ResponsibilitiesAuditing & Risk ManagementLead internal and external audits, investigations, and incident reviewsSupport site inspections and peer audits across all projectsCompliance & SystemsMaintain and improve integrated management systems aligned to ISO ****, ***** & *****Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and client requirementsContribute to system updates, documentation and continuous improvementReporting & InsightsProduce HSEQ reports with actionable insights and performance dataSupport client reporting requirementsIncident Prevention & InvestigationAnalyse incident trends and recommend prevention strategiesLead investigations into MTIs,



LTIs and serious incidentsPresent findings and improvement initiatives to leadershipTraining & Capability BuildingDevelop and deliver HSEQ training and onboarding programsSupport operational teams in systems such as Procore and 1BreadcrumbOperational SupportAssist with HSEQ Management Plans, ITPs and project documentationFacilitate risk reviews and monitor contractor complianceSupport wellbeing initiatives and safety culture programsCertifications & GovernanceSupport maintenance of ISO and industry certifications (AS/NZS, OFSC)Assist with legal registers and governance processesAbout YouQualifications & ExperienceDiploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum)ISO Lead Auditor certificationICAM or Taproot investigation trainingMinimum 6+ years' experience in a similar HSEQ role within constructionTechnical KnowledgeStrong understanding of WHS & environmental legislationExperience with integrated management systemsFamiliarity with systems such as Procore and BreadcrumbSkills & AttributesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilityHighly organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesInfluential leader with a passion for safety and continuous improvementOther RequirementsCurrent driver's licenceWillingness to travel as requiredWhy Join Us?
