Butler family Practice is seeking an experienced full-time GP Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and drive exceptional patient care of our community-focused General practices in the Butler and Merriwa locations.
We are looking for an organised leader with strong financial acumen to manage our team, streamline our mixed-billing workflows and ensure complete regulatory compliance using Best Practice software.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Manage rosters for GPs , nursing staff and reception, coordinate recruitment, handle performance reviews.Financial Management: Oversee bookkeeping, Medicare billing (bulk billing and private streams), and regular financial reporting.Clinic Operations: Customise Best Practice workflows, streamline appointment systems, and maximise doctor utilisation.Compliance & Safety: Maintain Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)



accreditation standards and lead WHS risk assessments.Strategic Growth: Work with clinic owners to maximize PIP/WIP incentives, utilize Digital Health tools, and expand clinical services.Skills and Experience RequiredMinimum 3+ years managing a General Practice clinicHigh proficiency and daily hands-on experience using Best Practice (Bp Premier) software.Deep understanding of the Medicare Advantages Schedule (MBS), bulk billing workflows, and compliance.Excellent communication, high emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities.What We OfferCompetitive salary package + super, based on experience.Supportive work culture focussed on collaboration and professional developmentModern facility equipped with the latest medical technologies
