Registered Nurse – Cosmetic and Advanced Wellness MedicineTherapy Mental Health Pty Ltd – Eltham VICTHERAPYTM Neurowellness Centre | Eltham, VictoriaPart-time or casual | Flexible daysTHERAPYTM is seeking an experienced, progressive and highly professional Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.This unique role is suited to a nurse with a strong interest in women's health, perimenopause, menopause, hormonal health, fertility, biomarker testing, IV therapy, cosmetic medicine, PRP/PRF, TMJ care and advanced wellness technologies.The successful applicant will work alongside medical practitioners, nurses, psychologists and allied health professionals within an integrated, medically governed setting.Key responsibilitiesDepending on qualifications, demonstrated competency and individual scope of practice, responsibilities may include:Women's health and hormonal careSupporting women throughout different reproductive and hormonal life stagesCollecting detailed menstrual, reproductive, fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause and menopause historiesSupporting patients experiencing hormone-related physical, cognitive and mental health changesAssisting with fertility, preconception and reproductive-health pathwaysSupporting medically prescribed hormone and menopause treatment plansMonitoring symptoms, treatment tolerance and patient-reported outcomesCoordinating referrals between GPs, psychologists and allied health practitionersProviding trauma-informed, culturally safe and inclusive nursing careBloodwork and biomarker testingCoordinating comprehensive bloodwork, pathology collection and biomarker assessmentsPerforming venepuncture, specimen collection, identification, preparation and handlingConfirming fasting, timing and other pre-collection requirementsMaintaining accurate testing schedules, result records, recalls and follow-up pathwaysIdentifying findings that require routine, priority or urgent escalationEscalating abnormal results to the responsible medical practitionerSupporting patients to understand practitioner-approved results and treatment plansCoordinating repeat testing and clinical reviewsIV therapyReviewing medical history, allergies, prescriptions and clinical eligibilityPerforming peripheral IV cannulation and venepuncturePreparing and administering individually prescribed IV therapiesConducting and documenting baseline and ongoing observationsMonitoring for infiltration, extravasation, allergic reactions, vasovagal responses and clinical deteriorationProviding clear pre-treatment and aftercare educationMaintaining medication,
cold-chain, stock and treatment recordsResponding appropriately to adverse reactions and clinical emergenciesCosmetic nursing and TMJ careConducting nursing assessments relevant to proposed cosmetic proceduresVerifying that individual medical assessment, consent and prescribing requirements have been completedPerforming authorised cosmetic nursing procedures within an approved treatment planSupporting clinician-led TMJ assessment and treatment pathwaysPreparing patients and clinical areas for proceduresMaintaining clinical photography and consent recordsProviding balanced information regarding risks, expected outcomes and aftercareRecognising complications and activating escalation or referral pathwaysMaintaining professional boundaries and avoiding pressure-based sellingPRP and PRF proceduresSupporting patient preparation and consent verificationPerforming venepuncture and preparing platelet-based products using approved equipment and protocolsMaintaining patient and product traceabilityApplying strict aseptic and infection-prevention proceduresAssisting with authorised PRP and PRF procedures under appropriate medical supervisionMonitoring patients during and following treatmentProviding approved post-procedure care and educationDocumenting products, equipment, procedure details and patient responseAdvanced wellness technologiesSubject to training, demonstrated competency and organisational authorisation, the nurse may provide screening, monitoring and clinical support for:Hyperbaric oxygen therapyWhole-body cryotherapyReOxy intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic trainingPhotobiomodulationHOCATTPEMFInfrared saunaNeurotechnology and nervous-system regulation servicesMetabolic and performance assessmentsRecovery and healthy-ageing programsResponsibilities will include completing pre-treatment screening, recording relevant observations, recognising contraindications,
monitoring treatment tolerance and escalating clinical concerns.About youThe successful applicant will ideally have:Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AhpraA minimum of three years' post-registration clinical experience preferredCurrent professional indemnity insuranceCurrent CPR and Basic Life Support certificationAdvanced Life Support certification, or willingness to obtain itStrong venepuncture, pathology collection and IV cannulation skillsExperience coordinating comprehensive blood panels and biomarker testingSound understanding of pathology terminology, reference ranges and escalation requirementsExperience in women's health, fertility, general practice, gynaecology, endocrinology or menopause careExperience in IV therapy, cosmetic nursing, dermatology, theatre, emergency or day proceduresRecognised education and supervised competency in cosmetic nursing where applicableExperience with PRP, PRF or platelet-based procedures highly regardedA strong interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, ReOxy, photobiomodulation and recovery medicineExcellent consultation, patient-education and clinical-documentation skillsStrong medication-safety, infection-control and emergency-response knowledgeA calm, warm, professional and safety-focused approachA genuine interest in mental health, nervous-system regulation and whole-person careWhat we offerA premium multidisciplinary clinical environmentMedical governance and collaborative care pathwaysExposure to comprehensive biomarker testing and advanced health technologiesEstablished administration and front-of-house supportFlexible part-time or casual arrangementsOngoing education and supervised competency developmentOpportunity to help shape THERAPY's women's health and advanced clinical servicesRemuneration negotiated according to qualifications, experience and scopeClinical and professional requirementsThe Registered Nurse must:Work only within their education, demonstrated competency, Ahpra registration and authorised organisational scopeFollow THERAPY's policies, clinical protocols and governance frameworkMaintain accurate, objective and contemporaneous clinical recordsParticipate in orientation and competency assessment before independently performing proceduresReport incidents, adverse events, near misses and clinical concernsMaintain patient privacy, confidentiality and professional boundariesNever independently diagnose, prescribe or alter a medical treatment plan unless separately endorsed and legally authorisedEnsure prescription-only treatments are supported by a valid, patient-specific assessment and prescriptionRefer pathology interpretation, diagnosis, prescribing and changes to treatment plans to the authorised medical practitioner
