Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on trucks, buses and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentInspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of trucks, buses and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentDo routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on trucks, buses and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentUndertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on trucks,



buses and other heavy plant machinery equipmentSkills & Attributes:Ideally have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Diesel MechanicA Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevantA strong knowledge of diesel vehicle maintenance and repairThe ability to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate on skills and experience.
